Build
Drop a region server onto your parcel and it becomes part of a working economy — farms, stations, vendors and gatherables that other people have a reason to travel to. No scripting on your part.
Craft
Gather, smelt, brew, cook and forge. Skills rise through use, and the chain runs deep — starch to sugar, sugar to alcohol, alcohol to something worth aging and bottling.
Trade
Nothing is spawned by the system. Every item on every vendor was gathered and made by a player, and priced by what another player will pay for it.
Two ways in
Players need somewhere worth going. Builders need someone to turn up. SL Colonies is the same system from both sides.
For players
Gather, craft, cook, brew, hunt and trade. Professions level through use, and the good stuff is always on somebody else’s parcel — so you travel, and you meet people doing the same.
For world builders
Drop in a region server and your parcel becomes part of a working economy — with a reason for players to keep coming back, and no scripting on your part.
